Vandpartner East Jutland

LE34 is part of the East Jutland partnership Vandpartner, which works to ensure clean water and reliable sewer systems.

The collaboration with the three utility companies takes place in a completely new framework: partnering. This ambitious partnership involves not only LE34 and the utility companies, but also all other suppliers, including engineers and contractors. Everyone involved has committed to creating high job satisfaction, innovative solutions and satisfied residents who have clean water and reliable sewer systems. The partnership is called Vandpartner.

An appetite for development

Our work for the three East Jutland utility companies – Aarhus Vand, Favrskov Forsyning and Samn Forsyning – covers classic LE34 core services: surveying, cadastral procedures and expropriation. At the same time, the partnership is a good example of how we help develop new, effective and close forms of collaboration.

LE34 has a strong track record of creating innovative solutions together with utility clients. For example, our advanced surveying instruments enable on-site quality assurance and the direct transfer of data from the field, reducing office time by up to 35%. Drone surveying is one example. We have brought this experience, expertise and appetite for driving new developments into the partnership.

Advice from start to finish

Our work is an important part of the utility companies’ ongoing maintenance. We are involved before, during and after the installation of new facilities and utility lines, including drinking-water pipes and sewers. We survey existing assets to provide the utility companies with accurate information, prepare site plans and register completed facilities and utility lines so that their precise location can be recorded in the companies’ systems.

High standards

Our survey technicians carry out the daily surveying work in accordance with DANVA’s (the Danish Water and Wastewater Association) standards for drinking water (DANVAND) and wastewater (DANDAS), and quality-assure the data before delivery. This gives the utility companies precise and reliable data on their drinking-water pipes, sewers and utility facilities.

The partnership's mission:

To ensure that water and sewer systems, now and in the future, safeguard public health and satisfaction and benefit the environment.

Legal advice

Our chartered land surveyors and technical assistants advise utility companies on rights relating to existing and new facilities and utility lines, and handle expropriation, voluntary agreements, cadastral procedures and land registration. This gives the companies an overview of any easements that still need to be registered. Registered easements can be highly valuable to utility companies because they provide a right of access to utility lines crossing private land, both for urgent repairs and planned maintenance.

Benefit from the latest and most advanced tools

LE34 is at the forefront of innovation, adopting and further developing the most advanced technologies to meet our clients’ needs.

Innovation that makes sense

Another of Vandpartner’s goals is to create innovative solutions that make a real difference to utility employees. LE34 and Vandpartner are therefore testing Augview, the utility sector’s answer to Pokémon Go. Augview makes it possible to see in 3D how existing and future utility lines are positioned underground at your location. Everything is accessed through a smartphone because the innovation must be useful: Augview needs to be easy to keep at hand and use in the field whenever utility employees and partners need it.
