About us

200 years of development. The older LE34 gets, the more modern we become.

Kenneth Norre, CEO, LE34

LE34 has a local, national and global presence. On land, at sea and in the air. This gives us an in-depth understanding of local conditions and how they relate to global developments. It makes us stable and agile and gives us a broad perspective. And it ensures that we are always close to our clients, regardless of the size or geographical location of the project.

Intelligent multidisciplinary consultancy

Our expertise is organised so that we can deliver precisely the multidisciplinary consultancy our clients need. From planning and urban development to expropriation and land registration. From setting out and subdivision to monitoring and laser scanning. And from volume calculations and data processing to augmented reality and as-built documentation. Our specialists cover it all. On land, at sea and from the air.

Professional strength

To ensure professional development and a high level of expertise across our disciplines, we have organised LE34 into a number of specialist areas, each with responsible business directors and regular knowledge-sharing meetings. Each area spans our geographical offices, enabling us to provide each other with specialist advice at a high level, regardless of where in the country we are based.

Our specialist areas are organised under six themes. Within these areas, we can provide our clients with multidisciplinary consultancy – always delivered personally by experts.

Managing peak demand

We have structured our resource management so that we always know who we can call on, where and when. This enables us to guarantee that our clients’ projects are completed on time – regardless of the workload at an individual office, there is always an available resource at a neighbouring office.

On site at short notice

With 31 offices strategically located across the Nordic region and at least 150 surveying teams in the field every day, we are never more than an hour away from any project. Our local presence is important to our clients and therefore important to us. Because we know the local conditions, we can take all parameters and stakeholders into account in our consultancy, creating value for our clients.

Professional management and board of directors

As the country’s largest land surveying company, we believe we have a responsibility to lead the professionalisation of our industry. We have therefore successfully prioritised placing LE34’s management in the hands of experts. We have appointed Ulrik Ahrendt-Jensen as our professional Chair of the Board and Kenneth Norre as our professional CEO. Both bring considerable experience and expertise, helping to ensure that we remain one step ahead in technological development, processes and the results we create for our clients.

ESG – Environmental, Social & Governance

With the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the European Commission has assigned companies of our size a mandatory task: from 2026, we must provide a comprehensive sustainability report that places stringent requirements on transparency and documentation.

We believe the Directive represents an important paradigm shift in corporate sustainability work and ambitions, which is why we began an ESG process as early as 2022 to learn more about ourselves: where we stand and where we need to go, what we do well and where there is room for change.

Based on input from employees and other stakeholders, a dedicated LE34 working group has mapped out specific, measurable initiatives through which we commit to working with opportunities and responsibilities in ways that improve our profession, our company and our shared future.

In several areas, we need to change our behaviour for the benefit of the environment. We must safeguard and strengthen our working environment, ensuring room and equal conditions for everyone. And we must work systematically with fairness and require our partners to do the same.

It matters greatly to us that we do this honestly and properly – remaining transparent and documenting the process. We are not pursuing short-term solutions. This will take time.

ISO certifications

At LE34, we are certified to ISO 9001 for Quality Management and ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety Management.

We became the first land surveying company in Denmark to achieve ISO 9001 certification back in 2015. This means that our work always meets the highest standards of quality and documentation. Quality assurance and risk management provide us with essential management tools for handling our projects, ensuring that our procedures are consistent across the country and that projects can be handed over simply and seamlessly. This gives our clients reliability, peace of mind and timely delivery.

Our ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management certification goes hand in hand with our continuous focus on a healthy and safe working environment. It confirms that we have an occupational health and safety management system that enables the organisation to create safe and healthy workplaces, prevent accidents, work-related injuries and illness, and continuously improve our occupational health and safety performance. The result is peace of mind and safety – for our employees and our clients alike.

Quality assurance

Our quality management system is the foundation of our production. All procedures are documented and meticulously reviewed by the relevant experts. For us, this means there is never any doubt about how to carry out a project correctly. For our clients, it ensures the same high quality every time, regardless of contact person or location.

Take care of my colleague

Safety is an area of particular focus at LE34, and our occupational health and safety management system is the backbone of our daily operations. We must be able to guarantee the safety of our employees when they are working in the field, and our employees must know that their safety always comes first. We therefore document all processes in accordance with the ISO 45001 requirements and conduct safety campaigns and information initiatives. It is always legitimate to call Kenneth Norre directly if anyone encounters conditions in the field that do not comply with the safety requirements.
